00166 - I lift my hands to the coming King

Updated: Mar 10, 2023

This wonderful song by Andre Kempen speaks to our commitment to Christ and His Kingdom while we are here on earth. I speaks to our dedication and commitment, that in spite of circumstance we are able as believers to still keep a keen focus on Jesus.

John 14:21 says ‘Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them’. (NIV)

Ultimately this speaks of our relationship with Jesus. Often we have to remain in faith to believe beyond the situation we face, that Jesus knows how to love us and lead us. His Kingdom needs our attention and often our sacrifice. We will always have the opportunity to lift our hands to a saviour that changed our lives forever. Jesus, we love you!

Quote

He loved us, and died for us, so that we would love Him.

Prayer

Lord, let me take time today to just praise you for what you have done in my life.
