You cannot pray without communicating to God. Prayer is a conversation, between you and Him. Sharing your heart with God and eventually understand how God shares His heart with you.
Some feel that they don’t pray well, don’t have an appropriate understanding of prayer, that may be true, but shouldn’t be an excuse not to try.
Psalm 141:2 says, ‘May my prayer be set before you like incense….’ (NIV). We must understand that God loves it when we pray, like a Father loves to hear the voice of his children. If you happen to be at the starting point of prayer, then here are the basics. Set some time aside, so you don’t get distracted by your phone or the TV, plan to tell God out loud of within your mind, what is going in your life and areas you need help in. You have then started your prayer journey.
Quote Prayer is conversation with God, enough said.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you that I can pray to you. Please Lord, teach me how to pray.
Action Point Why not set aside one hour, read what the bible says about prayer and then pray, asking God to take you deeper in prayer.
