Discouragement often creeps in when things don’t work out as planned, when setbacks happen, making progress feel almost impossible, or when prayers seem unanswered. In those moments, it’s easy to feel defeated. But God never asks us to carry discouragement alone—He calls us to bring it to Him. He is our strength when we feel weak and our hope when life feels heavy.
Psalm 55:22 reminds us, “Give your burdens to the Lord. He will carry them. He will not permit the godly to slip or fall” (TLB). God doesn’t just see your struggles—He walks through them with you. The enemy wants to wear you down, but God’s promises will always lift you up.
When discouragement comes, don’t let it settle in your heart. Instead, declare God’s truth over your situation. Keep going, keep believing, and trust that He is working behind the scenes for your good.
