00985 - Ghosts

Carl Brettle

The idea of ghosts haunts the imagination, but as Christians, we know the truth—spirits of the dead do not wander the earth. The Bible is clear that after death, the soul goes either to be with God or separated from Him. What people perceive as ghosts may actually be demonic deceptions, designed to create fear and confusion. But we are called to walk in faith, not fear.

2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control” (ESV). The enemy thrives on fear, but we stand firm in Christ, knowing His authority is greater than any deception. The only spirit we should seek is the Holy Spirit, who guides us in truth.

Instead of fearing the unknown, trust in God’s presence and protection. Darkness cannot overcome the light of Christ that lives within you, that’s great news.

Quote

Fear flees where faith stands strong.

Prayer

Lord, strengthen my faith and help me to walk in Your truth, without fear. Amen.

Action Point

If fear creeps in, declare God’s Word over your life and stand firm in His promises.
