00844 - The Construct Of Our Fears

Our fears are constructed by imagining worst-case scenarios that, in reality, seldom come to pass. We worry about things that might happen, allowing our minds to dwell on uncertainties. Yet, Jesus reminds us not to be consumed by such worries. In Matthew 6:34 (AMP), He says, "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

A study found that 91.4% of what we worry about never happens; you have to ask why we even entertain that. Worry stems from not knowing the outcome, but faith calls us to trust God's plan and care for us. By surrendering our fears to Him, we find peace.

Letting go of these fears involves shifting our focus from “what if” to “God's will.” Trusting in God’s provision and protection helps us live more freely, embracing each day with faith rather than fear.
