Wars and rumours of war are not new phenomena; they have been prevalent throughout history. The Bible acknowledges this reality and even speaks of it as a sign of the times. In Matthew 24:6 (NIV), Jesus warns His disciples, "You will hear of wars and rumours of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come."
Despite this sobering revelation, the underlying message is not to breed fear but to cultivate trust in God. Jesus's caution is to prevent alarm, not to incite it. The biblical perspective is clear: God remains sovereign while wars and conflicts may arise.
As believers, our response should be rooted in faith, leaning on the unchanging nature of God amidst the ever-shifting landscape of world events. By trusting Him, we anchor ourselves in His eternal promises and find peace during any turmoil.
Quote Nation will always rise against nation, so always trust in God.
