Flow In Your Anointing

Updated: Feb 16

It’s said that when a person is anointed, they express outwardly what God has chosen and set apart that person for a specific holy purpose. Someone might be anointed to teach, and whatever they say makes so much sense to whoever hears. Someone might be anointed to heal, and there is evidence that a good percentage of the people they pray for are healed.

Isaiah 61:1 says, ‘The Lord God has put his Spirit in me because the Lord has appointed me to tell the good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort those whose hearts are broken, to tell the captives they are free, and to tell the prisoners they are released.’ (NCV)

If you observe what you seem to flow in spiritually, prophesy, encouragement, healing etc. Then focus on that. God will use a willing vessel! Be humble in the delivery of your anointing.

Quote The anointing is a gift for someone else, not to glorify you.

Prayer

Lord, show me how I might best serve the people around me with the anointing You have given me.

Action Point

Think back over when God has used you and pray about whether that is God’s anointing. If you see a pattern focus on it.
