There is nothing like the love of a mother. A mother invests her life in her children and will stop at nothing to ensure they have the best opportunity in life. The early years of gentle correction and teaching will establish a child’s direction for the whole of their lives.
Proverbs 31:26-27 says ‘She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.’ (NIV)
It is often so sad when children don’t speak to their mothers or when mothers are not model parents to their children. Today in the midst of the celebration, why not reach out to any parent or child where relationships are strained, letting them know that God loves them and you are praying for them. After all, the mother invested so much in her children to begin with.
